Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-01 · Awaiting final legal review

In short: The agreement between you and Handled: what we do, what you control, what you pay, and the limits of what we promise.

Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you (and the business you represent) and [to be confirmed: entity name], a [to be confirmed: entity type] formed in [to be confirmed: formation state], trading as Handled, of [to be confirmed: registered address].

You must be at least 18 and have authority to act for the business you sign up.

What Handled does

Handled reviews information about your business, suggests opportunities, and, only when you authorize it, carries out work for you within the limits you set in your Authorization settings.

Handled is a business-services and software provider. It is not a law firm, accountant, bank, escrow agent, insurer, or licensed financial adviser, and nothing we produce is legal, tax, accounting or investment advice.

You stay in control

Nothing is carried out without your authorization. You choose how much we may do — research only, drafts only, recommendations, ask-first, or automatic — plus spending, messaging and payment limits. You can change or revoke this at any time, and revocation takes effect immediately for anything not yet started.

You are responsible for reviewing anything you approve before it goes out under your name.

Estimates, not promises

Hours saved, money at risk and other figures are estimates based on what you tell us and on AI analysis. They are not guarantees, forecasts or professional valuations. See our Disclaimer.

Payment

The first look is free. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. Full details are in our Payment & Billing Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that break it.

Your content

You own the information you give us and the work product we create for you once paid for. You give us permission to use it only to provide the service. See Intellectual Property & Content Ownership.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Handled is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from your workspace. We may end or suspend the service for serious or repeated breach, with notice where reasonable.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [to be confirmed: governing law]. Disputes will be resolved by [to be confirmed: dispute resolution]. Before any formal claim, please contact [to be confirmed: privacy email] so we can try to put it right.

Changes

If we change these terms in a material way, we will tell you in advance and ask you to accept the new version. Every version and your acceptance of it is recorded.
